In Grovetown, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across Georgia on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese are increasingly common but often cost a few dollars extra, and cross-contact in a shared oven is standard unless the shop says otherwise.

I started out as a customer at their food truck and immediately fell in love with both the pizza and the consistently great customer service. I visited their restaurant location today, and the quality hasn't missed a beatโthe pizza is as incredible as always. I wish them continued success and highly recommend checking them out!

My daughter and I decided to stop here for dinner, and Iโm so glad we did! Gil blessed us with impeccable customer service and even added a free pizza to our order. What a thoughtful and unexpected gesture! I ordered a half-and-half pizza with Alfredo and Aloha toppings, and both were absolutely deliciousโflavorful, light, and perfectly done. While I waited in the car for our order, my daughter went inside. When she came back, she couldnโt stop raving about how Gil gave her a tour of the restaurant and shared some of the story and history behind the business. You can truly feel the passion and family atmosphere here. The location is great, the food is delicious, and the people are incredibly friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back. Highly recommend giving this family-owned spot a try!

I was really hoping to love Southern Fired Foods because several people recommended it as a great spot, and I was genuinely excited to finally try it. Unfortunately, this one was a pretty big disappointment. We placed an order online, and my husband picked it up on his way home. I ordered a cheese pizza, expecting the thin crust that was advertised, but the dough was very thick instead. It also felt like there wasn't nearly enough cheese on the pizza. My husband had the pepperoni with extra cheese and felt the same way -- it just didn't live up to the expectations we had going in. For nearly $30 for two 10-inch pizzas, I expected much more in terms of quality and value. The experience just didn't match the recommendations or the hype. What made it more frustrating was that one of the people who originally recommended it mentioned that he had actually gone the same day and was also disappointed with the quality. He found out the owner wasn't there that day and said that was likely the reason for the difference. I'm giving it 3 stars because I'm willing to believe this may have just been an off day, especially since so many people had great things to say.

We've been coming to this place for a while when they were a smaller food truck. They use to frequent our neighborhood and we got their pizza everytime they showed up. We were never disappointed and so far that quality has transitioned into a brick and mortar store front. Im going to have to drive a little further to get my pizza fix but luckily its not to far from my house. All the pizza here is wood fire style pizza and you really cant go wrong with any pizza here. If you're close by or a little drive away, it's worth the visit. As you can see from the pictures, my wife ate a piece of her pizza in the car and couldn't wait to get to the house lol. This is not a sit down restaurant so keep that in mind. This is a order and go style place and it doesnt take long for your pizza to be ready.

We were so excited to hear Southern Fired Foods opened their new storefront in Grovetown, and after only being open a few days, we couldnโt wait to give it a try. The brick oven pizza was absolutely amazingโfresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Itโs clear they take pride in the quality of their food. What really made the experience stand out, though, was meeting Gil. We always appreciate meeting someone who is genuinely passionate about what they do, and that passion shines through in both the food and the customer experience. Congratulations on the new location! Weโve officially found our new go-to pizza place, and weโll definitely be back.
